Ryan Goodson is a basketball trainer, author, and showman based in Marietta, Georgia, who has built Goodson Basketball into a global skills-training operation since launching it in 2009. A former Appalachian State player who pivoted into professional skills training, he has since trained more than 25,000 players from the youth to professional ranks.
He has run camps and clinics across 30 states and 8 countries, worked directly with NBA-level talent including Stephen Curry, Zach LaVine, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards, and Mac McClung, and directed the Stephen Curry Skills Academy since 2011. Ryan describes Goodson Basketball as much a ministry as a training company, weaving his Christian faith and personal testimony into every camp, clinic, and one-on-one workout.
